Bar-Neck Scrub Python

It’s come time for me to sell my awesome bar-neck scrub python. I picked this girl up about three years ago from a young, local keeper who had very little info on her (the story was, she was bought as a cbb male Moluccan python…). Obviously not a Moluccan, and I could only probe 5 scales deep which isn’t too manly for a scrub. Probably not cbb – although she looks and acts like she could be. At this point, she’s probably a little over 8 feet and starting to put on some girth. People who work with scrubs know they tend to grow long and skinny for the first couple of years, then the growth in length slows down and they start to fill out, which is where she is now. Calm to handle, and not afraid of/or aggressive toward, people but she can be a little defensive in her cage. Ferocious feeder on thawed XL Rodent Pro rats. She’s a fantastic display animal who should be given a pretty good size cage with a place to perch. Someone looking for a great example of this species that’s only a year or two away from being to put into breeding trials, cannot go wrong with this girl. Will probe again for those for whom gender is critical.

Also, please check out the video of me handling her!

Looking to sell her for the very reasonable price of $250, plus actual shipping charges via FedEx, which I expect to be in the range of $100. I would prefer to sell her to someone locally so that I can deliver her in person and avoid shipping.

She has been sold, thanks!

Ball Python Group

I finally found some time to photograph my small group of ball pythons. At this point, I’ll be offering them all for sale because I really need the room. I’ve had all of these guys for years and they’re in perfect health. The three normals are all cbb from the Easy Bay Vivarium from a few years ago when people used to actually breed normal ball pythons. Both of those females have each produced a beautiful clutch (one with the male pastel and the other with the male spider) and are more than ready to continue producing gorgeous babies for years to come. The two female pastels are more than ready to begin their reproductive careers, but have not yet been paired up. All eat appropriate size thawed rats off tongs.

Thanks for all of the inquiries, but the whole group has now been sold. Thanks to all of my customers, I hope you enjoy your animals!

Boa Litter, 2010

This is the second litter of boas that I’ve been lucky enough to produce from this pair. These guys were born in Nov, 2010 and are more than ready for new homes. As with the previous batch, I expect most of these to grow into beautiful “normal” boas. You may notice a couple with nose rub marks – this was due to a temporary error in maintenance with one of the two racks they were being kept in. I adjusted the temp, most of them are back to normal, the remainder will be in another couple of sheds.

Boa Litter Sept 1, 2009

This nice little litter of boas was born on Sept 1. I purchased the mother from Brandon Weik at Summit Reptiles and she was what I thought to be the finest (and the most expensive!) available animal from his well known 2005 hypo-pastel litter. I purchased the father from a fellow named Wyatt in Texas. He was one of only a couple for sale, and his lavender base color, very red tail, and mild pattern aberrancy really caught my attention, even though he’s technically just a “normal” boa. The babies are all feeding well on thawed pink rats, look amazing and I fully expect them to grow into beautiful adults.

New Website!

If you’ve seen my site before, this will come as a bit of a surprise…

I’ve finally gotten to revamping it with what some of you may recognize as a wordpress based website. This allows me to, among other things, easily update the site to keep it more current. As time permits, I’ll be adding photos and descriptions of the animals in my collection – especially my White Lippeds and Amazon Tree Boas, including animals for sale. But it will be a slow process, so please bear with me.

Thanks.
